If you’re looking for more adventurous trip to Carstensz Pyramid, then we offer Double Summit trip to Carstensz Pyramid and Sumantri
Sumantri has a height of 4870m while Carstensz is 4884m. The peak is approximately 2 km northeast of Carstensz Pyramid. Sumantri will go through the rocks and glaciers that cover this peak which requires crampons. It is the only glacier on the equator. To get to the peak of Sumantri, we can start climbing from the base camp of the lakes or from the Carstensz Pyramid basecamp called the Yellow Valley. The difference is that we will go Northeast area to climb Sumantri, while to climb Carstensz we will go to South. Climb to Sumantri will takes an estimated 8-9 hours round trip.
