Carstensz Pyramid is located in South East Asia called ‘Papua’ – Indonesia, the same island as Papua New Guinea but this half of the island belongs to Indonesia.
To get here, you first fly to Bali (DPS), Indonesia, then take a domestic flight to Mozes Kilangin airport Timika (TIM) around 3 hours flight. Timika is a small town, but there are actually a couple of mountaineering stores.
